Travel Advisory for Chiltern Customers for 1st and 2nd June and Sunday 9th June
Chiltern Railways has advised customers travelling on the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of June and Sunday 9th June that there will be track improvement work taking place at Wembley Stadium station. As a result, the line between London Marylebone and Gerrards Cross will be closed and all journeys on Chiltern Railways services will be affected. The closure will allow Network Rail to carry out improvement work to improve the reliability of the rail network.
This will mean that customers may need to change trains or travel via diverted and/or alternative routes, so journey times may be extended. Customers requiring travel to Wembley Stadium for the BTS World Tour are advised that they need to find alternative transport or use the London Underground services to Wembley.
Customers are advised to:
- Allow extra time for their journey
- Check their journey before travelling
- Purchase tickets in advance from our website or via the Chiltern app to save time at stations and guarantee the best value fare
