Aylesbury-7

Travel advice between London Marylebone and Aylesbury this weekend

Customers travelling with Chiltern Railways are being asked to check their journeys as London Underground track maintenance work between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham will lead to changes to the timetable. There will be no services between London and Aylesbury Vale Parkway (Via Amersham) this Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 02, Sunday 03 and Monday 04 May).

As a result of the planned works, no Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the route Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury Vale Parkway for the entire day. Rail replacement buses will operate as follows, connecting with trains to/from Marylebone at Beaconsfield:

  • Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway

Customers traveling between Aylesbury and London Marylebone are advised to use train services via Princes Risborough/High Wycombe.

In addition, due to early morning engineering works, on Sunday 03 May no Chiltern Railways trains will operate on the routes between London Marylebone, High Wycombe and Aylesbury/Oxford/Banbury until after 08.30.

Customers are advised to:

  • Allow extra time for their journey
  • Book tickets in advance via the website or Chiltern App
  • Check their journey before travelling
