Storm Darragh: Essential travel only on both Saturday 7 December and Sunday 8 December
Chiltern Railways’ customers are advised to only travel if absolutely necessary on both Saturday 7 December and Sunday 8 December due to strong winds and rain expected throughout the weekend.
Weather warnings have been issued as a result of Storm Darragh, causing significant disruption across the network.
A reduced timetable has been in operation with one train per hour in service on all routes throughout Saturday (7 December), Journey planners have been updated.
The storm is also set to impact services across the Chiltern network on Sunday 8 December and Chiltern customers are advised to only travel if essential across the entire weekend.
Chiltern customers with tickets on Saturday 7 December or Sunday 8 December can use their ticket on Monday 9 December or Tuesday 10 December instead.
