Railway staff and college students sport Harry Styles vests on artist’s first Wembley night
A train operator which manages Wembley Stadium Station has partnered with a Hertfordshire college to design Harry Styles vests for staff on the artist’s first Wembley night (Friday 12 June).
Students of West Herts College, Watford, designed and provided Chiltern Railways with the fashionable security-wear which staff wore when assisting concert-goers travelling to and from Wembley.
The colourful and fashionable hi-vis vests were worn by staff hosting on the platform and overbridge at Wembley Stadium Station.
Rachel Evans, Special Events Manager at Chiltern Railways, said:
“We are grateful to students of West Herts College who designed these wonderful and individualised vests for our event team at Wembley Stadium Station.
“Our event team and customers joined in vest modelling and photo board moments to create a golden atmosphere under the aperture of the Wembley arches."
Kathryn Harrold, Employer Partnership Manager at West Herts College, said:
“Working in collaboration with Chiltern Railways has been a fantastic opportunity for our students to apply their creativity in a real-world setting. Designing and producing the vests for such a high-profile event has allowed them to showcase their skills, build their confidence, and gain valuable industry experience that will support their future careers in the fashion sector.”
The concert was the first of twelve Harry Styles gigs at Wembley, which started on Friday 12 June and is set to be the longest single-artist run in the venue’s history.
