Get from the West Midlands to London for £3.20 during the Chiltern Railways January Seat Sale

Chiltern Railways has slashed the price of 50,000 seats by 50% as part of its January Seat Sale, meaning that customers in Birmingham and the West Midlands can now book tickets to and from London for just £3.20 one-way.

This discounted fare is applicable for journeys between London and stations such as Birmingham Moor Steet, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Banbury in both directions.

Half-price fares for advance tickets have now gone live. Customers have a limited time to get their hands on the cheapest Chiltern fares available, with the sale running until Monday 6 February subject to availability. The promotion may end sooner if the 50,000 allocation sells out.

The offer also boasts advance tickets between Oxford and London for only £2.70 one-way.

This presents a great opportunity for customers to get back on the railway in their leisure time, as the discounted tickets can be used in conjunction with Chiltern’s two for one offer on entry to some of the best attractions across the network.

The window for travel is between Tuesday 17 January and Tuesday 14 March. There are a handful of dates excluded during this time due to engineering works and major events taking place at Wembley Stadium.

No railcards can be used in conjunction with the offer, and in the event of industrial action, some journeys may also be removed and subject to change.

Advance tickets are only valid for the day and travel time shown, and can be purchased through the Chiltern Railways website (www.chilternrailways.co.uk) or app.

Further information on the January Seat Sale can be found at www.chilternrailways.co.uk/jan-sale, with full T&Cs available at www.chilternrailways.co.uk/january-seat-sale-terms-and-conditions.

Eleni Jordan, Commercial & Customer Strategy Director, said:

“We want to welcome back customers, both loyal and new, to the Chiltern network this year with the great offer of 50,000 discounted fares. We are thrilled to be able to offer the communities we serve the chance to travel with us at such a low-cost.

Customers should book quickly to secure their ticket on the Chiltern Railways app, as when the 50,000 bargain seats are gone – they’re gone!”
