Friday Flash Sale: Thousands of discounted tickets up for grabs with Chiltern Railways this month

Chiltern Railways is offering thousands of tickets at discounted rates to travel on Fridays throughout September.

Tickets are available on the Chiltern Railways app and website to travel from selected stations on the Oxford to London Marylebone line with tickets from as little as £5.40. In addition, discounted tickets on the Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone line can be purchased for as little as £6.40.

Bookings open from 10am on Mondays until midnight on Wednesdays to purchase discounted tickets for the following Friday of that week.

Andy Camp, Commercial and Customer Strategy Director at Chiltern Railways, said:

“The Friday Flash Sale is the perfect opportunity for customers to experience some of the scenic destinations on the Chiltern route and connect with friends and family.

“Tickets can easily be purchased on the Chiltern Railways app or website and we hope this promotion will encourage more people to travel by rail.”

Flash Sale tickets will be available on specific Chiltern Railway routes only:

  • London Marylebone northbound to stations between Bicester North and Birmingham (inclusive) and vice versa
  • Birmingham southbound to stations between Banbury and London Marylebone (inclusive) and vice versa
  • Oxford, Oxford Parkway and Islip to London Marylebone and vice versa

Discounted tickets can be purchased at the following times:

  • Monday 9 September (10am) - Wednesday 11 September (midnight) for travel on Friday 13 September
  • Monday 16th September (10am) - Wednesday 18 September (midnight) for travel on Friday 20 September
  • Monday 23 September (10am) - Wednesday 15 September (midnight) for travel on Friday 27 September
