Chiltern Railways warns Oxfordshire customers to check before they travel ahead of signaller strike action
Chiltern Railways has warned Oxfordshire customers that services on Saturday 19 November and Monday 21 November will be affected due to RMT industrial action by Network Rail signallers at the Thames Valley signalling centre.
On these dates, Chiltern Railways services to/from Oxford are affected as follows:
Before 7.30AM: Trains will operate only between Marylebone and stations to/from Oxford Parkway
07.30AM to 18.30PM: Trains will operate to/from Oxford as normal
After 18.30PM: Trains will operate only between Marylebone and stations to/from Oxford Parkway
On Tuesday 22 November, trains will only operate between Marylebone and stations to/from Oxford Parkway before 7.30AM. After 7.30AM, trains will operate to/from Oxford as normal.
There will also be a handful of minor alterations to services on Friday 18 and Sunday 20 November.
Due to this strike action and the impact it will have on other operators as well as Chiltern, services between Oxford/Oxford Parkway and London Marylebone are likely to be extremely busy on dates affected.
Customers should check their full journey before they travel on the Chiltern Railways website or app.
