Chiltern Railways makes amendments to timetable following key worker feedback

Chiltern Railways will be making some minor amendments to their timetable from Monday 13th April following feedback from key workers. The train operator is currently running a reduced timetable reflecting Government advice that people should stay at home unless their journey is essential.

These changes include two additional trains in Oxfordshire, the 0600 Banbury – Oxford and 0645 Bicester Village – Oxford. There will also be changes to services on the Metropolitan Line in order to provide through services between Aylesbury and Marylebone all day for key workers, running at 90 minutes intervals.

Mary Hewitt, Interim Managing Director at Chiltern Railways said: “At Chiltern Railways, we’re grateful for the invaluable feedback we’ve received from key workers using our services. We’ve listened to the suggestions and are pleased to be able to make these amendments to the timetable to help key workers get where they need to be.”

Chiltern Railways has an email address where key workers can give feedback on the timetable, keyworker@chilternrailways.co.uk  This timetable will remain in place until further notice, though service levels will be kept under regular review.
