Chiltern Railways hosts Railway Children Sleepout at London Marylebone Station
For the second year running, railway colleagues took part in an overnight sleepout at London Marylebone Station to raise funds for the charity Railway Children.
This year’s refreshed and rebranded event invited railway colleagues to once again swap their warm beds for the cold station floor for just one night as part of the newly named “Railway Children Night At The Station”.
By signing up, participants committed to raising at least £100 for Railway Children’s crucial cause, supporting vulnerable children in the UK, Tanzania and India.
As part of this year’s sleepout at London Marylebone Station, which took place on Thursday 26 March, railway colleagues raised £3,500 (with donations still open). Money raised goes towards protecting children when they are most at risk, so children don’t just survive but thrive.

“I was delighted to take part in the sleepout at London Marylebone for the second year running to help raise funds for the Railway Children charity, which provides vital and often life-changing support to thousands of vulnerable children and young people.

Railway Children works closely with British Transport Police and holds a variety of events each year. The charity also hosts a youth platform, offering advice on a range of issues to help young people build a brighter future. Chiltern Railways is a regular supporter of Railway Children.
